"BRAINS"

Clay is a thinker and a tinkerer. All things from growing hydroponic lettuce to building an airplane are within Clay's wheelhouse interests. He once challenged a group of nuns in an armwrestling match. He enjoys finding people who look like puppies and the sound of soup slurping. For this project, Clay is overseeing the tasks, triple checking Chuck's math, and eating brownies.

"FRANNY"

Nicole has no engineering skills and this build is way over her head, however she's good at organizing and feeding people so we basically bring her along for the snacks. Part magpie, part art teacher, all mom, all the time. For this project she's overseeing the gofundme, building this website you are reading right now, and trying to gather the team on a regular occasion.
She's investing her time with this project in hopes Theo Jansen will come to visit it {aka her} someday.

"WILD CARD"

JohnK is a man who defines the idea of an open mindset . He's dabbled in everything from fiber weaving to robotics. He is famous at Dallas Makerspace for the proficiency of his portrait. His portrait has been made in approximately 45 different media and the "find the JohnK" game is popular around Dallas Makerspace. For this project JohnK will be helping with the CNC fabrication.

"NYAJOE"

JJ knows the value and opportunity found within each and everyday. He very recently married the love of his life in Hell. For this project, JJ worked on the ground video, keeping track of successes with photos, and will be lending his killer work ethic behind the project.

"LIMEY"

Mark was given a motorcycle and told to ride...at 5 years of age. He's carried that wild spirit into his adulthood by exploring all sorts of interesting nooks and crannies such as woodworking, 3D art, and shooting antique guns in the woods while dressed like a colonist. For this project Mark will be manning the Multicam CNC router and vacuuming up lots and lots of sawdust

"ROCKET DOC"

Jen has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Aerospace engineering and BSc in Astrophysics, currently working on the Dream Chaser program. Ya, people rocket ship stuff. she's originally from originally from Canada and moved to TX 18 years ago. Although she loves the Texas fad of free chips and salsa everywhere, she still can’t get used to the heat! She loves Maker Space for the fact that she learns something new every day and it gives her opportunity to use the creative half of her brain. All this and a bag of chips and she makes a mean cutting board!

Russell is a fiercely independent thinker and subscribes to a world of anonymity and honor. He's going to hate that he's mentioned on this website and try to get himself removed from it. Russell is a proud grandpa to three granddaughters and two grandsons and papa to three boys and one girl. He loves his wife dearly and she finds him acceptable most days.

"PANTS"

David when you think of sensational pants you think of none other. David - dynamic pants, substantial dancer, and lover of all good things. David has been known to rescue kitten just to put collars on them and carry them around for other people to pet. He loves a dark beer, dark stories, and sloths.
